I’ve been rooting for Cruza for a few years at this point, and was eagerly anticipating this, to the extent that I even chose to listen to this before the nxworries project.
And I was impressed. All the things I love and have loved are at least, in part, present here. Interesting structures, imaginative beats, sticky- spacey melodies and genuine experimentation with the medium.

I like a lot of the decisions undertaken on this project. There’s a pervading naturalism in the approach with regards to instrumentation and the way the vocals are less produced than many of her contemporaries. There’s a richness and a character to tems’ voice which has not been compromised at all in the pursuit of compressed perfection. I appreciate that greatly.

Thoughtful, engaging and quietly provocative. I think Vince, one of rap’s most overlooked geniuses, has performed another magic trick.
