I know this album is a soundtrack, and maybe after watching the movie I will like it more, but I don’t know... the loud noises sometimes feel unnecessary, even though there are great songs in the middle of it all
It's not an easy album to review, so I’ll give it a 63. It’s good and has some great moments, but it could be much better. Overall, I still like it.
Never listened to a Laufey album before, but this one is really good
Almost no low points and it's a very fun and lighthearted album to listen to
Man, I know that in terms of quality this album probably isn’t the best, but gosh, I really love it. I didn’t know anything about them until I heard "I’m in Love with a Girl" in a Dr. House episode. For some reason, even though I know the quality might not be the greatest, I really love this album.
The Kanye inspiration is obvious, but it's a fun album to listen to despite some very bad equipment on certain tracks like "Home" or "Not There Yet." I would love to hear it recorded in a good studio, but for a low-budget project, it's not bad at all.
"We Made It" is all right and works well as an introduction.
"Home" is fun, but the awful mic quality really ruins it for me.

"Some notes that I take while listening to this shit:
"Hoe Phase" ain't awful, but it's not great either. It's really weird as an opening to an album with your mom on the cover, but it's listenable.
"Road Trips" is fun and probably the best song on the record. It's probably the only good song on here, despite that last part with the "hell yeahs" and stuff.
"Outside Tweaking" is bad. Stunna Sandy has some good parts on it, but overall it ain't it. Drake feels like he was obligated to do this one.
"Cheetah Print" was a waste of a good sample.
I still don't like "Which One," as it is a very poor effort from both of them.
"BBW"... what the fuck was that?

Shabang is a good beat and the chorus is good Drake's flow before the beat switch is weird idk didnt really liked that, after that was a little better
I enjoyed Make Them Payed and had some good bars drag a bit in the end but we're good with that
