Okk this is good
Ariana continues with the sound she developed in ES but with some nice flare. I like how the main melody sounds floral (kinda yacht rock-y) and I like how ambient it is. The bridge also reminds me of some of her late 2010s songs. I’m not really big into the chorus, but the final one with her layered vocals is beautiful ♡
Although, is it just me or does she sound kinda different except for the backing part of the last chorus? Idk but it’s not a deal breaker
I knew Liv’s new album would take many influences from the Robert Smith crew, but naming a song after them was not on my bingo card for 2026
I’m normally not that big into indie folk, but I love the vocal layering in this song. Probably the best harmonies of the year! Also that part near the end with the synth release is one of the best in song moments in popular music recently. Overall amazing song
