Freddie Gibbs proves with ease how certified he is within rap. The combination of Alchemists' calm luh beats and smokey lounge aesthetic, with Gibbs' raw and unfiltered truth riffing over them. This genuinely feels like a Jazz Lounge experience. Very dark and very personal, exceptionally personal for Gibb's. It gave me whiplash, I had been a Logic superfan for years but as of recent I've stepped away for the most part only ever going back to his older stuff and more traditional Hip-Hop shit.
