A very unique project and my first real introduction into the Chopped and Screwed genre. I would say to skip the second and fourth track. The second track is kind of a slog to get through, and the fourth is kinda just a nothing burger. The rest of this album though, has some bangers. Some sound calming, like I'm listening to Aphex Twin (notably tracks 1, 3 and 16) while some are chaotic (track 9 and 12) and the rest can vary. Yeah... this is the best rage album of all time. The new songs are all unique, which is something I also said ABOUT THE ORIGINAL ALBUM. Transitions and beats are all executed very well. Basically, if you like Half Blood, this is just that with an additional album that has the same strengths.
Also, why the FUCK is Love Blur removed on Spotify for this reissue?
This album is just banger after banger. Even the "low points" are amazing. All of the songs transition into each other insanely well and the pacing is super consistent. So far, the best and most unique rage album I've heard so far. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend a listen
Underappreciated, underplayed, underrated, under-whatever, this album is great. A beautiful use of glitch that feels somewhat avant-garde to me.
