This album feels like an embodiment of déjà vu.

We kick things off with from me to u (feat. Poppy), which feels like a spiritual sequel to Kingslayer. Even Jordan Fish hops on board again, which is a neat little nod. It sets the tone well enough, but for me it's not something I'll come back to often. Not bad, just not super memorable, feels like it's doing more of the same but at a worse level. Ghost is back with Skeleta, and honestly? While not my favorite (that will probably forever be Meliora), it might be their most fun album yet. It doesn’t take itself too seriously instrumentally, but still manages to hit some emotional and dramatic lyrical highs along the way.
