The amount of time i heard this at my intern that i already hated makes me not like this song..
This might be the J. Cole album i mostly come back to, especially Man Up Above, Who Tf Iz U, 39 Intro, Life Sentence and TFOII. Right now my AOTY and i think it will be hard to beat
Randomly heard Wake up Violet (which is also my favorite of this EP) on a tiktok back in December 2023 or so, and decided to listen to the whole EP. Let's say they all met my expectation after hearing Wake up Violet, wonderful
I expected this to be average at best, but it's actually better than i thought
Top 3:
1. Who tf you blaming?!
2. Money Cash Hoes
3. F.U.T.V.
Most of the time, i love chill hiphop, and this album does a great job in that
Listened to Beef and Michael & Quincy on repeat and randomly decided to listen to the whole album. Nas cooked hard, love this
Love the freestyles so much. Everyone cooked hard. But unfortunately the mixing sucks on this.
Listen Gentle hit me the hardest. Great album, especially the production
I suppose his flow and this album isnt for me.
Favorite: Menace to Society
Least Favorite: Cause & Effect
Solid? Yes. Album of the year? For me, nah. I really like the chill vibe on this album.
This starts out great, and then pretty much gets worse every track. You'd have high expectations when you hear the 2 first tracks only for it to be blown just a few tracks later. I knew this album was gonna be mid since i've heard a few songs but decided to listen to the full album today. I lowkey started laughing when i heard Island Holiday. I will say the outro track (Written History) is pretty good tho.
Also get Lil Novi and Kodak Black off of this please ðŸ˜
Its alright. It has some good songs, and also a few bad songs, but overall this album is too loud for my liking.
I really liked this album and Luther is beautiful, it kinda gives me nostalgia for some reason. Reincarnated and Heart pt. 6 are also my favorites. I think this album is overhated nowadays, but i will agree that its overplayed. But overall a great album
