GOOSE. My introduction to the band came from Cameron Winter's debut "Heavy Metal". Loving that album, brought me here. I could not be more blissfully surprised. This album man, I listened to this album for the first time in my headphones in a library studying for my finals. News flash I did not get any work done, I instead spent time going through Magdalena Bay's discography and background. I know its cliche to say, but this genuinely the best album I have heard. Writing aside, if there were no vocals on this album it would still be a very good jazz album. A song like "For Free" displays some of the most fun jazz gets, and on top of that even more fun writing. Album gets super introspective which is no surprise being a kendrick album. Atlanta juggernaut Playboi Carti came back swinging with his 30 track lp MUSIC. Improving a lot from his last release of wlr. Tracks like POP OUT sound like a more refined version of wlr's vision. He was also inovative with his own sound using more dark production along with his deep voice. Tracks like FINE SHIT had me in love with the production and use of samples.
