One of my favorite R&B albums ever. The tracks are so concise and unique as fuck. The sound of this project could never be replicated like this. J. Cole came back, always was my favorite rapper of all time, and this cemented it. This is just great in every point. Sonically and lyrically. You got songs where you can hear his grits and others who just hit u right in the feels. First listen was generational for me, couldn't believe Cole outdid himself again. A classic in my eyes and it had that title before it even released.

Can't believe the change of pace that Denzel took on this project, because compared to his previous works, this one feels more complete.
The theme is constantly present and rich, the sound is immaculate and even the album cover adds on to the music. It represents this body of work so well with this melted vision, covered in blue and turquoise, representing the jazz and blues.

This is Tyler's best work. The whole 24 songs with amazing sequencing. Not a single miss. AMAZING production, nothing GROUNDBREAKING but still unique and cohesive to his sound.
