after like 2 years after first listening to this album, i still love it. this was the album that really opened me up to music. i mean, sure, im not THAT much of a music nerd. i only listen to music if i like it or not, and i dont really pay any mind to band members unless its a band that i really enjoy. but for slint, its different.

they only have 2 albums and 1 ep, those being tweez, spiderland, and slint. compared to spiderland, their other 2 albums are underwhelming.

holy shit i havent listened to this album in so long. im from québec, where this group originates from, and wow this record is really nostalgic. i grew up with this music, of course, alongside many other genres, and it'll always have a long-lasting impact on me.

back when i first got this on cd, i described it as "one of the best things ive ever listened to". which now, with my acclaimed musical knowledge, isnt true, like at all. but that doesnt mean that sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band is bad, it really isnt. i actually think its one of the beatles' best records, just behind abbey road.

this was, embarrassingly enough, my FIRST ever cd. im not saying im ashamed, but i mean it'd be cooler to have... i dont know... not a video game soundtrack as your FIRST cd, you know?

anyways, this game means alot to me. quick backstory: i started playing it in december 2023, but i really got into it in early and late 2024. in june 2024, i got it on cd for 30 bucks. best 30 bucks ive ever spent.
