Crazy how I discovered the song Issy on my youtube recommended and now I'm fully invested into this Zack's music. Really one of the most underrated artists right now. This album was peak and I like the lore of Snoey too I think it's really sweet. Reminds me a bit of Kevin Abstract, Steve Lacy and Quadeca. So so good
The lesson that we can learn from Deadbeat is that you can't please everyone. Going into this I thought it was going to be just okay but there were some great moments on here like No Reply and Piece of Heaven (which is peak btw and is my favorite). I respect Kevin for branching out and trying something new but there is definitely a risk when you do that. I honestly don't understand the hate and I enjoy this new sound that Kevin made. Not his best by no means but you can't expect ... read more
I'm not a huge rock guy but wow this thing is fantastic. I love Cameron Winter's voice and how it sounds like he's barely holding on but it sounds so excellent. I got heavy Rolling Stones vibes throughout the album and I love the bossa nova instrumentation that can be heard here and there.

The story of blurryface and dema started when I was in third grade, this year I'm in my second year of college and now the story is over. Tyler, Josh, and everyone else that's creatively involved with the band, you should be proud of the world that you built and the community that grew because of it. And the banger albums that came along the way. Even if we lose, we can try again, always.

I remember my brother showed me Maruja's music around the time that their Knocknarea EP was released. It sounded like nothing that I had ever heard before. I'm so glad that I revisited their work about a year later. It's amazing to see how their sound has changed throughout the years, they've taken the art of protest and turned it into something powerful. Literally turning pain into power. I feel like this album dropped at the perfect time, we need music like this more than ... read more
Pretty solid overall, it falls short of what JID brought to the table with Forever Story but there's lots of variety. The beat switches always slap and there was hardly any skips on this album. Really the only problem I had with this is how the pacing on the first half of it was a bit wonky especially with the transitions between songs. Of course the hidden features will always hit. I really enjoyed this for the most part, didn't feel like it was heavy on a concept but just some songs ... read more
first song is pretty nice, reminds me of a la carte a little bit

(edit) Wow, just wow is what i was saying over and over when i was watching the vanisher movie for the first time. This is one of the best albums that I've heard in a long time. Quadeca is reinventing himself over and over again and I'm all here for it. The production is amazing and it reminds me a lot of pirates of the carribean, the instrumentation makes you feel like you're there on the ocean with him. Songwriting is next level too, with 'MONDAY' having some of the ... read more
