Goods:
* The lyrics on this were wrote with much thought, so I definitely haven't dug deep enough to give a full review, however, I feel he is being honest and expressing his battles & successes through the times we are currently facing. We also get a glimpse of his lie journey from spiritual seeking to grieving over a lost one
* I appreciate the experimentation with the trap influence on the production
* It's Earl, so the flows are ... sick!

The lyrics and vocals blend so well together to paint such a dark and beautiful image. The mix is also so pleasing to the ear, big fan of this route! Especially the first track of the two.
The lyrics hit home for me as someone who deals with the agony of everyday stress. The vocals feel honest to me, and the emotions brought in by the instrumental feel genuine. It keeps growing on me each listen, I just wish it ended with more instrumental or just something besides the fade off. But overall, it was very pleasant :)
I really love this so much. The different breaks in the instrumental are refreshing, and the overall mood is lively & inspiring. I wish I could hear the words of vocals, although, the ones I can interpret are interesting enough to keep engaged. I had fun, and I am excited for what is to come :)
Edit: Saba should become a gardener, this one grew on me.
The flows & vocals carry most of this track, and the feature was defiantly solid. The beat is smooth, but those hi hats don't fit well to me for this sort of track. It can also all together get repetitive, but I'm excited to see what Saba brings for this upcoming project!
The Goods:
*The mixing is beautiful as each track makes a good use of space while still feeling full.
*Interesting contrast between futuristic instrumentation while containing a dash of old school R&B/Pop in the vocals
*The vocal performance is on point, and I hear, at times, some exploration with different vocal tones and inflections which was interesting and didn’t feel forced.

What I loved was how each track could put pictures in my head, which made for a interesting ride of cartoon type imagery. Most tracks were filled with some intense flavors but not overwhelming. It felt inviting which is nice for someone like me who is new to this genre of music. The problems were that ... read more
