Earl has a better half than Mike. Production is great but gets repetetive when you listen to the entire album at once. Overall I love the vibe of this and Earl Sweatshirt on plugg beats just reminds me of Lucki and Lucki is awesome sauce.
I have so many questions. It actually feels like Yeat is sometimes the reason this album doesnt work, his vocal performance is lazy compared to old times and lyrics are slop compared to 2093. Some songs are overproduced as fuck, some songs are amazing. Idk why a song like "What I Want" is on this album. Its a good Afterlyfe unreleased grail i guess, but why would you put this on your "best album"? The album just doesnt flow that well, some songs feel like demos, some sound ... read more
He is trying new shit, I like that, on this EP most beats are made by BNYX and Synthetic beats often have Sapjer on them. Because of Sapjer adding his touch to those Synthetic beats they dont sound as boring as on Lyfestyle. But I think he is still holding himself back for ADL, this was just a sample of what that album will be like.
i thought that he was one of those rappers who got praised by kids who only listen to the shittiest music they can find but its not like that
this album is amazing, its all produced by Pharell and the formula of the songs is pretty much always the same, but the quality also is pretty much consistent through the entire album (although some songs in the second half are a little bit weaker)
im not listening to ts, the cover looks like a youtube thumbnail
First track and Im already laughing because the beat is so funny, this album feels so fanmade. idk maybe some of this will grow on people but its just not as good as his previous works. The intro on EVIL JORDAN was literally a tik tok edit thing before it was put on this album. If Carti dropped this 1 year after WLR i wouldnt complain but this was so overhyped
This is a yeat album, what makes it stand out is the production. Synthetic uses really characteristic synths which sound amazing but after 20 songs you get tired of them. Beats from Sapjer have a really different sound and are more similar to 2093. There are no bad songs here except for the features. Kodak Black and Summrs have terrible mixing, also their verses are mid, especially summrs. Don toliver is ok but nothing special and Lil Durk is probably the only feature here which feels like it ... read more
only 3 songs are shit, other than that it's classic future with a few standout tracks
