If Everythang Is Working Out was the victory lap, Nothing Is Working Out is the spiral—and Big Waz 38 somehow makes it just as compelling. From the jump, NOTHING IS WORKING OUT and HELL throw you straight into a raw, unfiltered mindset. It’s darker, louder, and way more chaotic, but it never feels messy—just intentional madness.

Bloodluxe – Slayr
Rating: 94/100
Slayr does it again with a phenomenal project on Bloodluxe and at this point he might honestly be one of the best underground rappers out right now. The project is super consistent and easy to replay, with Slayr sounding locked in the whole time. Definitely one of the stronger underground releases I’ve heard recently.
Ghost Runner – Vega7 The Ronin
Rating: 73/100
This project has a cool concept and some creative ideas, but it doesn’t fully hit the way his stronger releases do. Vega7 still brings sharp writing and interesting themes, but a few tracks don’t stick and the overall replay value isn’t as high. 3. Zero Cool
The Ghost Orchid – Vega7 The Ronin & Machacha
Rating: 90/100
This album really surprised me. It’s easily one of the best produced albums of 2025, the beats feel alive and carefully crafted but never overdone. Machacha creates a sound that pulls you in and Vega7 sounds fully locked in, calm but sharp with his writing. The whole thing feels cohesive and intentional, like they had a clear vision from start to finish. It’s immersive without trying too hard and it gets better ... read more
