Trav'lin' Light by Jimmy Giuffre is an extremely intimate, raw and mind numbingly boring performance that feels like it lasts forever. Every musician featured on this record has great talent especially the likes of jim hall but this is a terrible showcase of that. what feels like pointless meandering for 35 minutes that was recorded in a hotel room becomes possibly my least favourite jazz project i've heard. its not often an album affects me physically but this one left me with ... read more
