has some absolutely beautiful tracks and then it flops the next song and it’s like ehhhhh… definitely makes the overall score deplete. had high hopes for this album because earlier works were so promising, this was a bit of a let down. but some of my favorite songs of 12 rods EVER is in this album so i do have to give credit to the correct tracks when it’s due.
super funky ep i really really liked all of the songs and the switch ups in the middle of songs keep you entertained the entire time and it never gets boring. amazing vocals and i'd also like to point out the drums!! really solid ep
extremely solid work. considering the first track is the most liked song throughout the entire band's discography, theres a reason. its very sick2 esque, their sound is created in this, honestly. while the 2nd is quite different imo with the vocals being so prominent rather than all instruments. nothing bad, just different than usual. 3rd track just being the pinnacle of sick2. THIS is the sound when i imagine this band. the drums being my personal favorite. the switches in moods, its all ... read more
its basically 40 minutes of keyboard and elaborate lyrics. almost feels like a conversation, perfect for lonely people who long for another. intimate in some ways. i’m biased for my opinion because i just really love his vocals but man. this is so dear to me
I am so sad this was literally so boring i was so excited for new le sserafim but an this was some doody there's no climax or anything i was picking my nose listening fr
biggest 50/50 i've ever seen. vocals are amazing but the sound is monotonous in some tracks. liked it tho but just a heads up b4 you listen that it's a bit boring in some songs.
The feelings this has given me after reading all of the manga have me on my knees. This album was beautiful and also very scary, like a sense of not knowing what's to come. lots of comfort, too. leaves a bad taste in my mouth when i think about it. this soundtrack has given me a lot of nostalgia from when i had first watched the anime. I'm on like my 3rd rewatch LOOOL i love this anime and the manga so much it makes me tweak
the way this album starts off has you a bit bored with all the experimental sounds and then stuff like math (track 4) comes around and you finally sit up in your seat and pay attention. nonetheless a great listen. most of these songs stuck with me very hard and i end up thinking about on late nights.
favorites were:
track 3, 5, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15.
track 3 starts you off not expecting much especially from the previous tracks but the best way i can describe how i think of track 3 is that ... read more
if i had reviewed this years i would’ve given it much lower. these 2 songs you can make connections with to his more recent music.
icehead
sportstar
and alina
are all sound alikes in at least a moment of these songs. my fav is lucy bc the cutie isn’t as well thought out i feel.
these songs were definitely made just on a whim bc his dog didn’t even have anything happen😭😭 he’s so dramatic. his dog was living with his mom from what i’ve heard which makes this ... read more
OK hear me out. my high rating has personal things with it. why do you was my ringtone, my alarm, like basically everything. that song scared me enough to wake up and to answer calls and it encouraged me to answer calls more often. at the time i struggled very socially and it corrupted my way of communicating, i could never talk. that song is very important to me.
inna is short but sweet and especially with the name. i doubt it was meant to be like this, but in polish inna means some other and ... read more
i think the only track that i didnt really enjoy was skull love, otherwise every one of these songs are perfect. he never fails to make me question who i am and what im doing with my life, great listen.
fave tracks: tie me down, fix, dont make me chase after you, and i want my life to be a story
