Jheyes

A solid album with the first two tracks being the standouts. Song 3 lets down the rating somewhat.

This was a really enjoyable album for me. The mixed rhythm and pace on the songs on this album whilst still conforming to the identity of the band made this a refreshing listen throughout. Some of the later tracks on the album don't match the same quality in my opinion but this may change with more re-listens and these tracks are by no means bad.

Favourite Song - mangetout

An interesting listen. Whilst the vocals left me with mixed reactions, I did really appreciate the instrumentals of the songs and helped to amplify the mood of the album. I think if the vocals were slightly better integrated amongst the sound it would truly be a must hear album.

A superb concept album, the depth of the album as well as the complex approach really make this album stand out. What a great experience!
