HAS SOME INSANE BOPS! the beats and flows for their bigger group songs are insanely infectious, and I can't help but want to dance/shake ass and headbang. The high highs carry it through though, and still make me enjoy the project overall. However, some of these other songs have cringier than normal lyrics and mid-production at best. It kind of feels like a hot or miss in terms of if i'm having the best time of my life or just skipping the song entirely.

I really had a great time with this album. I really like the way the melodies blend with the instrumentals, and the way that they're balanced in which (for the most part) there isn't one aspect that overtakes another. Additionally, all of the instruments get their moments to shine, especially that cello, and it really adds a layer of depth & meatiness to production that might otherwise seem very typical for an indie rock record.

I definitely do not agree that this is as bad as some other people seem to think from my initial perusal of the audience reviews. However, I do agree that it feels strangely impersonal and offers nothing new or exciting from either artist. The record definitely has it's highs, and the artists do collaborate together well -- they just happened to make a very standard pop record. I wish there was more to say about the album as a whole body of work.

This is a wild ride of an album and I love almost every moment of it. It’s experimental and everything feels so intentional and purposeful, I’m such a slut for concept album/body of work that’s well executed.

My only complaint is that some of the songs maybe go on a little too long unnecessarily, but the more I listen to this the less I care lol. That and some songs have super repetitive lyrics, and for me the double whammy of food production and pen game is something I ... read more
