Diet Downward Spiral
The best way to describe this EP is the common saying of the artist must suffer to make good music. Vocals are mainly screeching and screaming, insanely distorted guitars in your face, with pounding electronic drums and random noises, this is a harsh listen and experience, and I was surprised to see how much of a metal influence there is on this project, such on the track "Last". One of my main criticisms of this project is that a lot of the songs, though still good and well made, they have a hard time fully hooking me into the track until later into them, and some of the production choices, and vocal inflections, though still cool, don't always stick the landing I feel they intended to and sometimes, feel outright cheesy. funnily enough, I love it when they explore groovier sounds, like 'Suck". And though this isn't too much of a criticism, given how harsh these songs can be, you have to be ready to enjoy this record. This is a pretty amazing project, and plan to come back from time to time
