Really enjoyable debut. Violet really does a great job on being vulnerable on the writing here while still incorporating the messy grunge sound that I, personally really like.
Gave me a different view on Mr. Harbour whilst giving probably one of my top-10 break up albums ever
P.S Who the f*ck is Madeline?!
I really enjoyed the miniseries that this song was created for, so naturally when I saw Jorja wrote and created a song for this show I gave it a listen.
Jorja's vocals are flow beautifully on a track like this.

I don't get why people are hating on this so much. I agree, I'm annoyed that they added the rave riff at like the last 15 seconds, that's just diabolical.. like what 😠but I feel like the ground constantly shifts beneath you on this track. KATSEYE has this canvas and just paints it however they like, I think it is the fact that I love the little to no rules being followed on this track. Shame that it lyrically isn't there, but production is decent !
considering geordie greep and cameron pictons solo projects are this good, maybe it was a good thing black midi split up lol
As a fan of Humberstone for more than 6 years now, I can proudly say this is her best body of work thus far. Holly displays a lot more vulnerability on this record and it feels like the right leap from her previous records. Rob Milton has also definitely grown as a producer, and you can hear it with the smooth synths in the title track for example. The only real gripe I have with record is I feel it is cut short,it wouldn't kill it to have maybe ~10 minutes more runtime.
