After listening to Sunbather I really thought Deafheaven couldn’t top it, but I was wrong.
Lonely People with Power is the second Deafheaven album I’ve heard, and it was a great experience. This album feels a lot more “metal” than Sunbather, and It pays off in a big way for them. It has those heavy riffs that you look for in metal as well as those feel I like I’m levitating moments you would find in shoegaze, ultimately creating a great unexpected combo.

Very interesting albums to say the least
This is my first time listening to clipping. and it was a pretty enjoyable experience, however I do have some issues with it. For one I’m not the biggest fan of Dave’s Digg’s rapping style, It’s very unorthodox(at least on this album) and can feel very lackluster at times, but other times it works very well. Spiritbox delivered an alright album I guess?
I thought the album had its moments but some there was a few problems. The clean vocals just felt very forced at times, It was almost pop like at times and didn’t even feel like metal. Which is something a lot of metalcore bands are doing as of recent. By the end of album I wasn’t really impacted at all.
Overall, just a very subpar metalcore album
Very solid album, Alchemists beats are good as usual, but Larry June and 2 Chains rapping leaves a lot to be desired
Not that good but not as bad as everyone says it is either. This album definitely has it’s moments but overall feels very bloated.
Bathory’s best album, the riffs on this album are just so peak, and that solo on call from the grave is so gas
Peggy’s first album packs a punch with some aggressive tracks and some more toned down ones as well, definitely the most underrated album in his discography
Better than I remember but still a snooze fest. Sticky and Jimmy Cooks were pretty good tho.
