Waterparks managed to make a very clean sound with this album. It never strays too far with each song yet it still manages to execute new ideas as the album goes on.
It's fine, by no means lived up to my expectations that the singles laid out for me. (The Craving was sorta a sign what to expect compared to the others if that makes sense?)
A lot of the songs follow a lot more pop tropes than I was expecting. When they said we were returning to Trench, I was expecting a lot more experimental songs. Songs that had the ability to get better with age. I think most of the songs on this album don't have those qualities.
