I hate on AJR just as much as everyone else but I'd be lying if I said I didn't kinda like this.
I definitely had a bit of an AJR phase in lockdown and I've come to peace with that.

I don't even hate the original but this might just be one of the worst songs to ever be created in the history of music.
Any sort of message and meaning the original has is totally stripped away by the generic, grating club dubstep beat that's poorly laid on top of it with what feels like zero effort at all.
And the random "good boy" slapped in the middle makes me take it even less seriously.
