could've been a great concept EP with a magical soundscape. it also could've done without a shock factor and needless trend-following with the title track. some say it's camp but personally the drop seriously hurts my brain lmao. enjoyed the bsides tho! they massively missed out on adding a stronger storyline that could have helped the cohesiveness and a link to the 'dreamcore' concept of ILLIT.

i'll let it sit with me for a while, if anything i love it for the artistry and imagery it invokes

EDIT: In 2023, I gave this album a 70. not sure what i was on. at first this record is so packed with messages, lyrical and instrumental content that it seemed INTIMIDATING AS HELL. but everytime i listen to it i get something new from it. it's actually beautiful. this album made me appreciate music a lot more and the beauty of storytelling

doesn't do anything necessarily new but it is refreshing to see kpop soloists getting music that fits their personality an suits their vocal range. this is pretty much exactly what i could see yuna releasing. very pleased at blue maze btw great song definitely the standout song here
