43 years after debuting the band still makes insanely great music
the healers features a lot of sounds found on rope/the beggar live performance, like the outro or the groovy section. it also has a harmonica moment that heavily reminds me of the seer. it's a very strong opening but not the best track here.

they made a song that's too long to fit on a cd (full performance of the beggar was 89 minutes long)
and the original song is about 10 minutes long. rope formed out of this less than a minute intro for the beggar studio version into a 30 minutes long behemoth. it's insanely beautiful how they can expand on sounds like that. it happened before, mainly on "we rose..."

yeah sure mikey, slapping a 40 minutes long sound collage in the middle of an ethereal folk album is a great idea
i think doing it like on "my father will guide me up a rope to the sky" where the sound collage was a bonus disc and not a part of the actual release would make this album a 10/10. also it feels extremely artificial just to make the album 2 hours long.
