I can say firm that interpol is one of the band's and artists in general that has a perfect discography, but obviously there is nothing better than their first trilogy, and even when "Turn On The Bright Lights" It's a unsurpassed classic, antics is not far behind; we got some of the most iconic interpol songs right here, and this change from the dark atmosphere of the debut album makes an incredible contrast where they expand their sound and concept to new horizons, also i think that is one of the Best moments of Paul Banks voice, Even when i think that he is one of the greatest and most eccentric voices in the indie scene, here is the moment where he squeeze all his potential.
This album saves the best of the indie sound from early 2000's and It's a masterclass in how to make an album that's both explosive and depressing, cryptic yet so catchy you can even dance to the groove of the guitars or bass lines, as well-read as Paul Banks himself.
