this is everything to me.
generational start to an album, followed by beautiful songs about life, hope, and retrospection, and a symphony-like ending packaged into an hour of pure bliss.
production is amazing, and everything else is pretty solid. there's a lot of ideas that sometimes don't flow well together, but i wouldn't say any song is bad. it's a good pop record with his personality really showing in the composition of the tracks.
ejean has pretty much only dropped collab songs and like two solo songs, so this feels like we're finally getting an introduction as listeners to her sound, and i absolutely love it.
the singles were definitely the best songs for sure. I'm kind of disappointed that we waited 3 years for a new project and it's this short (especially since he teased this project was gonna be an LP multiple times last year) but overall a solid, pretty, and delicate collection of songs; nothing mind blowing except run like hell which is insane.
