I'll start by saying that I've listened to Joji's music for a year now and a few days prior to the release of Nectar I listened to Chloe Burbank, In Tounges EP and Ballads 1 again to see where he went with his music, the good the bad and the ugly.
Going into Nectar for the first listen I was left with a bit of bitterness as I came out of it only loving half of the album which was underwhelming.

It definitely has been Joji's year (minus the first weekend of Coachella)
He has featured on three different artist's albums (Bonobo, Rei Brown and August 08) and done a bunch of liveshows at various places (Coachella, Gov Ball, HITC, Hard Rock Festival and Miami) and not to mention just finished his first stint of his SMITHEREENS tour.

It's been a year since this album has been released, and with the boys now going on an 'indefinite hiatus' I thought it was a good time to review their last album.
A year ago I listened to the album which was my first listen through and through of a BH project, back then I really enjoyed the project a lot and even a year on, I personally really enjoyed the album and I'm willing to admit, its my favourite BH album.
