The thing that agitates me the most about this album is how all of this guys samples are 1000 times better than his original work. Like that makes sense since he's a DJ but the difference between "TOO MANY PEOPLE" and "JUST BE COMPETENT" is like night and day.

Maybe I'm just being an asshole here but I thonk there's a problem when the best part of your album is when it's closest to the work you're sampling. Also I could talk about the album cover ... read more

이달의 소녀 [LOONA] - ViVi

Listening to "Everyday I Love You" brings me the same fluttery feeling I had in my chest when I was 13 and daydreaming about my first girl crush. It's a tooth rotting dance pop song with Vivi's soft vocals. Vivi's delivery of the chorus is extremely hypnotic that I sometimes find myself humming yo yoy.

"Everyday I Need You" is fine but I'd say it's one of Loona's more weaker B-sides. The reason why I love "EDILY" so much is because ... read more

The funniest part about this album is that it's supposed to be all about the exploration of sex and be all scandalous but it's so musically safe and lame. This sounds like something one of the dreamsmp members would make back in 2021.

Like I have an aoty account so it's obvious that there's nothing going on in my sex life. But would the last genre you would want to associate with something thrilling as BDSM sex is boring bedroom pop.

On a positive note the guy has a good ... read more

Chris Brown - BROWN

Chris Brown is the RnB Anti-Christ.

ILLIT - MAMIHLAPINATAPAI

This feels more like the producers throwing last year music fads at the wall that a EP.

"GRWM" sounds like a pinkpantheress reject. "paw, paw" does as well but with a mix of "brat" (or whatever these 40 year old producers think brat was) but atleast it's catchy in a earworm way so I can give it a pass.

"Mamihlapinatapai" is obviously trying to do that Sabrina Carpenter style with that one guitar riff from "Black or White". And ... read more

Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II

This whole album sounds like the word "perpendicular" was turned to an LP.

It's quite neat and technically extremely impressive but I feel as the way it goes on for too long with melodies, especially in the second half of the album, stops me from giving this the flowers it deserves. I can't lie I actually really enjoyed how it repeating melody worked for "Mata Zyklek" and the later parts of "Utzp". It makes the album feel less like an album and more ... read more

ちゅううううううう!!!!!! - Fuck LGBT

Nothing else to say since it's just lame edgelord shock music but if you want some trivia, did you know the cover image is actually from a Touhou fanwork?

In this fanwork, Koishi Komeiji (the idiot with the hat) accidently hangs her sister Satori Komeiji(the lady in the wheelchair) as a gift as she doesn't know any better. It's deeply criticized in the fandom for being dark just for the sake of being dark which is quite interesting since this album also is needlessly edgy.

bbno$ - bbno$

The most interest part about this album is that bbno$ is actually the worst part of it. Like some of the songs of would actually be fun dance music if bbno$ didn't insert his awful flow into it. It makes me wish that he would make instrumental but I know that he's too self centered to make anything that doesn't have his face or name painted all over it.

XXXTENTACION - Look At Me!

Did you know that they force every single middle schooler in Broward County into a room the moment they turn 11 and blast "Look at Me!" into their ears for a week as initiation. If they fail to complete the task they are exiled to Atlanta as punishment.

This song probably sucks to anyone who doesn't like trap or heavy bass but I've been brainwashed at 11 to think otherwise.

Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy)
1

This song already sucks but it pisses off even more that it took over the original song by J-Knows in popularity. Meaning that every time that I beg Alexa to play "Tipsy" my ears are harassed by this musical sewage of a song before I beg the stupid robot to shut it up.

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
100

This is unironically my favorite Tyler album and my most played album during freshman year of high school. No wonder why I'm showing signs of hearing loss at 18.

I really like the versatility of the album even though people usually write it off as inconsistency. The idea of putting "BUFFALO" and "OKAGA, CA" on the same album is chancy but I feel like it pays off well since they're both great songs for their respecting eras. The mixing is iffy but deeply enjoy it ... read more
