This is a spoken word masterpiece! Really obsessive and paranoic vocals on psychopathic electronic+guitar movements. Try to figure a drunk and drugged Bukowski reading poems during a epileptic seizure. MUST HEAR.
Books, movies and noises in one place, that reach their peak in "Verrà la morte e avrà i tuoi occhi" and "Confessioni di un vecchio sporcaccione".
It's a nice and noisy album.
Repetitions and brutality, that's what italian power-duo Meteor offers to us, and that's why I love Them. A 13 minutes long journey through fast guitar-noises-drums movements, absolutely stunning even if It's less fascinating than the previous one ("Có Còl e Raspe").

I was so impatient for a new Grauss Boutique and they - luckily - didn't disappoint me.
The right powerful mix of instrumental violence i really need: heavy bass and mathy guitar riffs mixes up creating a mixture of hardcore, punk, prog, math and what more?
Another perfect hit by ATRDR Records, another reality (of course: from France) who never disappoints me.
If You're that kind of listener who prefers heavy post-rock to ambient-related one, that's your kind of EP: It knows how to be fast and heavy, even if the opening track "Jamais Coiffé" could suggest something different, what comes next will surprise you.
My fav one is Destructeur Fraîcheur Nature.

Interesting :)
Math & prog stuff with nice ideas. Something reminds me And So I Watch You From So Afar as much as Alright The Captain. Somewhere, some funky stuff can be found ("Bepoman").
Imho, last track ("Microsleep") is the best one, which also reminds me Strawberry Girls stuff.

I'm not a big fan of drone or psych stuff, but i love the way some musicians - even if not with a band - doesn't necessarily gets into songwriting. I should admit, also, that Golden Heir Sun does better than lot of other (at least italian ones) musicians. His ideas goes from individual post-rock from - as I already said - drone and psych stuff, sometimes even ambient.
It's not a catchy record, but has its good moments: it's like a 20 minutes long journey in an obscure path.

A Tant Rêver Du Roi never disappoints me: this album is brilliant and brutal, if you wanna make yourself an idea just pick Echine of Doom's video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XloRcA8Ks5s).
Bass sounds is just awesome.

Born as a split album with QUI (you can find it on MacinaDischi bandcamp page), this is the ULTRAKELVIN's half, in CD.
Kelvin was an outstanding guitar/fx/drums duo, and that's the ULTRA version: six songs mixing up no wave guitars, electronic schizophrenia and hyperactive drumming with a full punk attitude.
Twenty fully-enjoyable-minutes.

Listened it from the BrooklynVegan preview: I knew it wouldn't disappoint me, and so It was.
Give me two Aiming For Enrike album per year and I'll be the world happiest man.
That was a great way to welcome the new year, a wonderful mix of danceable noisy tracks made with guitar-loops and hyperactive drums (Battles mixed up with Chemical Brothers, or old Daft Punk stuff with Imelda Marcos).
Totally in love with "Ponzu Saiko".
Give it a chance ;)
First album by italian new-wave-proggy-jazzyrock superheroes "Confusional Quartet". Heading from Bologna, they brings Devo's lesson with them mixing it with the best prog-schizophrenia and some noisy guitars.

Listening to Sonic Citadel it's like using a tornado to dry your hair.
LB keeps going on that line: hypernoisy songs with the most catchy riffs and movements.
I usually don't go mad for tropical sounds (even when we talk about math-rock with tropicalysm) but i have to be honest, this one is stunning. Also, 'cause the drummer uses a lot of cowbells, and i just loooove cowbells!

Uhmm, looks like someone is deaf.

French bass-free super heroes doing an excellent and noisy and LOUD 9-tracks-long shock treatment.
This is one of the most powerful album i've heard in a long time. Reminds me some of my most fav bands from Italy (Cardosanto and Rosolina Mar).
MUST HEAR.

An awesome duo from Czech Republic, playing a superb 18 minutes long math-noisy album.
Totally recommended to Giraffes? Giraffes! fans!

The second half of the album is really great. "Techno Shamanism" is the beginning of the loudest stuff, and "Cash Caballero", "Scissor Rats" and "Unintentional Manscaping" follow closely.

Highly recommended job: a powerful 14 minutes single track mixing the best Prog-Rock, Math-Rock and also some jazzcore atmospheres.
If you like Mars Volta and The Physics House Band, you def should check this out :)
