This album meant a lot to me in high school. Anxious teenager with enough friends to feel safe but not close enough with them to feel comfortable, putting himself through hell because he's terrified of embodying disappointment. Adam, the lead singer, wrote this when he was the same age as I was when I stumbled across it.
