Lord, they weren’t lying then they said “unmastered”. And dammit, the rawness of it sounds awesome! I love every track on here, and some of them really just made my entire day because of how much I enjoyed them (coughcoughuntitled08cough). Not Kendrick’s best, but one of my personal favorites.
I’m frustrated because this album is nothing like what I expected and wanted it to be. It was so incredibly repetitive and the entire album has so little differentiation that by the end of it, I was genuinely, and I don’t put this lightly nor do I put it as figurative language, mind-numbingly bored. The first few tracks have some of my favorite productions in any hip hop song ever. This is certainly one of my favorite albums of all time, and hell, I would pick this album over TPAB any day. TPAB is a better album for sure, but this album has a completely different vibe that I enjoy more. This is all my opinion! Billy Woods may become one of my favorite ... read more
