When I heard their first album I immediately said “if they just made 6 more albums that sound exactly like this I would be so happy” and they did indeed deliver!! A really great album!! I love the vulnerability of his songwriting that doesn’t come through in a lot of current male artists. A solid blend of soft pop-rock with a lot of country energy and it’s my vibe but it’s not life changing or anything. Full of fun, refreshing soft rock vibes and crystal clear vocals all the way through that perfectly carry the energy and authentic storytelling of the roller-coaster self discoveries relationships, self fulfillment, and crises of a woman’s life stages. There’s nothing much on here that Superache didn’t emulate and execute a bit better tbh, yet it is still a great listen that very much showcases Conan at his peak songwriting, with the added strength of getting to apply a real, raw emotional outlet, purely dedicated to the direct situations that have happened to him.
