How tf did we go from "Womb 2 Da Tomb", to this, to There is a Hell?
It is a well known fact that Oli Sykes could not sing and was borderline tone deaf before Jordan FIsh joined the band for Sempiternal, but honestly it kinda had it's charm on their 2010 album, where it makes him sound lost, sad and distraught, but here it makes him sound like a 35 year old man that beats his wife
It's not even that bad it's just kinda whatever, but putting it as a lead single is pretty worrying. If they had just turned the autotune down a bit it would have sounded a lot better
Nothing will ever get me to listen to something more than seeing Porter Robinson being credited, unless it's that new Illenium album iykyk.
Seriously what a beautiful way to sample Divinity

I was freaking out all of yesterday seeing who was featuring, not only do we get new Knocked Loose but we also get their most experimental song to date, so many things shouldn't work and should just fall under all the trashy rap metal that we have seen in the last 10 years, but Knocked Loose knows better and gets someone who can actually rap on the song
"I'm mother" yasss girl slayy
Another great album, but they really could have used more time on it, it's very much the same kinda sound, just a little more exciting sounding and less dramatic. Most songs are incredible, but some of them just don't bring much to the table
This album was not made for phone webbrowser youtube ðŸ˜
So it's not just Robot Stop, this guy really just loves to shout "Ohooah" a lot huh. Murder of the universe is my second King Gizzard album, and after not liking PetroDraconic I really didn't expect much, but man their psych rock is something else, unfortunately I feel that the album really doesn't quite stick the landing, and yes it has all to do with the second narrator just really taking out of the ... read more
This really just furthers my opinion on Hayley Williams being one of the greatest vocalists alive. This woman can sing!! The vocal layering on this record is so incredible, and her range going from the most beautiful voice to screaming her vocals. I was just blown away, like how does she make the discovery channel cover work.
What no way the band that made my aoty from last year keeps making absolute peak music
What a way to hype up their upcoming album, it's very similar to their style from their last album, but still very much stands out as something new and unique, it takes you on a journey and there is nothing I'd rather do
Now I can study while listening to my favorite band hell yeah
Seriously this thing is nothing special but I have never been enjoying listening to lofi as much as this
I really expected more from this album, like there are genuine amazing songs on the album, but my biggest issue with this album is as someone who hasn't ever listened to Pusha T or Malice is that I really have a heard time distinguishing between the two, and I also feel like their flows are too much the same through the album, so it really felt like the biggest game changer for the album was the production, and Pharrell does a really good job on a lot of the songs, but other songs I just ... read more
Very frontloaded, but it has so many songs that feel nostalgic to me at this point. Maybe a bit too on the nose a lot of the time, but it still has so much charm
They just always deliver and never disappoint.
This album is filled with so much variance, there isn't a single track I don't like which is pretty normal for anything Spiritbox have ever made
Please don't tell me they are gonna do like they did on "For those that wish to exist", and just make a few songs a differnt genre (That they don't know anything about how to make) for no reason what so ever, with really just boring lyrics and nothing that stands out. This is such a let down from Blackhole, which is their best song since "Holy hell"
This is what I picture an edgy af anime intro sounds like, but instead of being made for the average edgelord fan, it's made for queer people with good music taste
Crazy what queer people on dating apps will recommend you listen to, and I don't even feel like I understood half of what the album was about, but it's just so damn good. Wouldn't surprise me if I ended up giving this a 100 on a relisten where I really sit down and try to understand every little detail, just ... read more
While "Nurture" feels like this perfect album about getting better and evolving as a person. "Smile! :D" feels like a much more intimate album; it doesn't portray any solution to Porter's problems but is more of a way for him to tell everyone how he really feels about everything going on in his life. There is for one a lot of swearing on this album which is very different from all of his other material, and it really gives me a better understanding about how he ... read more
The fact that they say "I could be a millionaire but I would rather fry my brain" is so funny when they rip off another song so clearly
