Taylor Swift extended her original album into "The Anthology" finishing at just over 2 hours. Extending on my thoughts from the original album these tracks are more evidence to why I am such a Swiftie. The devil is in the details and she is a master at her craft. She has the ability to write a song that both breaks you and gives you the ability to relate to. I've spent moments in her shoes and she has taken thoughts from my head and given the a vocabulary I couldn't. Her ... read more
You may know Lexa Gates from her marketing stunts but she should be known as the rapper to watch. Her tracks are chill and she isn't but she perfect flows with the backing on some of her tracks. Her East Coast roots show through on this album as well as her no f*cks given attitude because she is focused on rising to the top. Her sense of humor is prevalent and even though it's dry it adds the perfect flair to her record. There isn't much on this album that differentiates the ... read more
The Tortured Poets Department celebrated its one year anniversary yesterday. I have reason to believe that she did find a way to put narcotics into this album. This album definitely has some stand-out songs that have timeless aspects to them but again it's the production that ages it. I wish they ... read more
BANKS has been underrated for a long time and this album may have been the first of her to show me why. The album is titled 'Off With Her Head' and with this many names on one album I do feel like she was a bit separated from hers. I feel like in this piece she has kind of lost her sound rather than experimenting with news things. She fell into the easy pockets of R&B that she knows she is incredible in. Though those moments are't bad they are just a bit overdone at this ... read more
