mwahaha stole the 1000th rating (i havent listened to this album)
had an absolutely religious experience listening to this on a roadtrip with a headache
weather report goes dummy hard
the only album that can simultaneously make me both super hyper and also want to cry in a pillow
i would say something funny or insightful but i am neither funny nor insightful. this album is cool though and i love whoever is reading this โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
Beautifully gentle instrumentation. Vocals were so gorgeous though I am not sure if they were in english.
FL—I remember I had tried to listen to this album (maybe about a year and a half ago) but I didn’t finish it. I remember I was skating, and I got bored. I was kind of a stupid child back then, but it doesn’t matter because I’ve gotten around to finishing this album, and I’m happy I did. I will at first admit that any vocal storytelling or “world building” that Brain McMahan uses pretty much completely flew over my head, which I am mostly to blame for (I ... read more
FL—I enjoyed this. Not the most jaw dropping impression, but it was something nice to fill my ears. I felt it was a pretty consistent album, it rarely dragged, but then again I can’t put my finger on any moment that were particularly outstanding. I wouldn’t say this album completely fits what I interpret as post-rock, though I nonetheless enjoyed the gentle, less on the nose sort of atmosphere it builds. I think this has opportunity to grow on me, but for now I’ll keep ... read more
Though I am not the most invested into Fishmans (this is my first Fishmans album), I can acknowledge this album’s significance. This was Shinji Sato’s last performance before his untimely death in 1995. It’s very fitting that the final song Shinji ever performed (Long Season) happens the greatest song to ever grace my ears. The entirety of this album is beautiful. The dreamy atmosphere paired with Shinji’s hauntingly gorgeous vocals made this such a great listen. Not ... read more
quite possibly the most relaxing and atmospheric project i’ve heard. a bit bloated, but vibes are definitely there.
god bless you neph!
despite the fact that this album is only really known for american tterroristt (which admittedly is very fun listen), this project is solid regardless. good production overall and some quality bars from neph every now and then. dont take this album seriously, neither does neph really, but it does accomplish its goal of being an amusing listen quite well.
i have a short attention span so this music will suffice

certainly a vibe. but not his best work. there are some absolutely mind boggling tracks here that literally everyone and their dog has praised, but there parts on this project where i thought the production got a bit mundane. and despite how much i love him, black kray isnt the type of rapper to be able to carry a mediocre beat. still enjoyed this project

great album. the dreamy atmosphere that telepath builds accompanied by traditional percussion was something that i wasn’t used to, but i enjoy it a lot. it shines in some tracks more than others, most notably the opener and track 6, where the percussion elevates those songs. i found the more ambient pieces a bit boring, but they’re still enjoyable and come through with some nice vibes.
