Ariana Grande - positions

Once you hear the crickets, you can't unhear them. Very good song nevertheless

Ty Dolla $ign - Ego Death
60

Don't think I like this song that much. Kanye's part is really sluggish, it just sounds like he didn't put in any effort. Ty Dolla $ign's part is pretty decent, but it isn't anything to write home about, it's merely some filler.

twigs part was amazing tho, but that is to be expected from her

Drake - Toosie Slide

We couldn’t be asking more from Drake these days than this kind of stuff, pleasantly surprised for a Drake single to be honest.

Lil Yachty & DaBaby - Oprah's Bank Account

This is the kind of music Lil Yachty is destined to make, this is his genre.

Flume - The Difference

One of my favorite songs of 2020 already. This collaboration is a match made in heaven and the Ooooh's at the drop are heavenly. This is one of those songs that transfer you to another world when you first hear them.

BROCKHAMPTON - SUGAR (Remix)
86

Other than the Dua Lipa feature this is an excellent remix. A stripped back instrumental with fresh new flows and lyrics make for a well-recycled remix. Great song.

Run The Jewels - ooh la la
88

RTJ never fail to make interesting music, even though this isn't the regular style in which they make music they still come up with a fitting flow and some great (and at times funny) lyrics.

Future - Tycoon
78

This one is a grower for sure, Future doesn't always slap, but when he does he bangs.

Nav & Gunna - Turks

A pleasant surprise for anyone who dislikes NAV.

Justin Bieber - Yummy (Country Remix)

Listening to this makes me want to kill myself, this counts double for the original. It seems like Bieber and FGL took the lyrics from the original and thought: How can we make this even worse than before?

DaBaby - Find My Way

Doesn't this sound very similar to Marshmello ft. Anne-Marie - Friends?

The short film is amazing, the song itself lacks the quality a lot of his other songs have and no I'm not talking about the beats or the flow Dababy always uses, it just doesn't click with me. The song is supposed to be melodic but the beat doesn't give Dababy room to create an actual song. It is much too overproduced, the 808s sound randomly slapped on without thought. I would've liked it if the guitar wouldn't be drowned ... read more

Joji - Run
95

Another very enjoyable single that has been released inside this new decade, this time the creator is Joji. From the clear guitar strings to the obviously more confidently singing Joji, this track has it all. The song starts off subdued, but it immediately picks up an enormous energy boost on the chorus. Even more lively might be the guitar solo at the end though. Great track overall.

Joyner Lucas - Revenge
86

This track shows that if Joyner Lucas actually tries to make a good track, he is perfectly able to make one.

Mac Miller - Good News
100

I have been listening to this song on repeat for the past few days and holy shit does it hit me hard. I was going through a hard time and this was exactly what I needed. I don't know if it is the singing, the lyrics, the instrumental, the fact that Mac Miller passed away, the association with my real life event or combination of all of them that makes me cry, but god damn it is one of the most tear-inducing, somber-making tracks I have ever heard. It is just beautiful, nothing more to say about ... read more
