Oh my goodness gracious. This album begins with a little taste of the latin inspired guitar style that we hear throughout the rest of the album. Immediately the vibes of GNX reflect the more mature energy of Mr Morale but with a new kind of energy. The lyrics (as always) are absolutely incredible and thought provoking. This record is beautifully crafted. The instrumentals and Lanas haunting vocals carry this album. The lyricism is more simple than on her other records but it's still a very interesting image. Where this album suffers a little is in its range. While every song is beautiful, they all kind of sit in the same range of notes and energy. This album excels in its musicality and is an absolute gem.

This album was an absolute delight to experience! I was genuinely excited to hear each song. The vibes and energy of this record are absolutely infatuating. My personal favorites when I initially listened were Taste and Dont Smile. My least favorites were Dumb and Poetic and Lie to Girls. I normally do not care for production much, but the instrumentals and melodies on this record are absolutely gorgeous. The storytelling throughout this album is entertaining and whimsical almost. One thing that drags this album down a little bit is the few songs that don't have as in depth lyrics don't make up for it in the melody or production.
