If you like Lizzy Mercier Descloux then this will be right up your alley. If you don’t like No Wave at all don’t bother it’ll only alienate you. Caught them live recently and, as a huge no wave fan myself, it blew my mind.
“Getting Killed” is the marriage of Heavy Metal and 3D country. This project doesn’t sacrifice any of the ferocity or Boldness that we’ve come to expect from Geese as they transition into some softer stuff.
Nico and BCNR meet in a bar, but it’s not a bar it’s a rainy cafe and one of them is micro dosing.
Never heard a better interpretation of “rage” as it was defined on WLR. The mixing especially feels entirely indebted to WLR. It is a faithful recreation but it avoids being derivative by shedding all its predecessors dead weight; replacing it with pure moshpit crack.
