Woodbine’s February Challenge! Day 19:

Ooh, we’re in need for some Diva energy right now! Today, pick an album that will have you strutting through the day, fierce and GLAMOROUS!

Ok. So this wasn’t exactly the BEST pick for today. I should’ve probably spent a bit more time looking (because I switched out an even worst pick just a few hours before), but it is what is. This album is also pretty damn good. I’m OBVIOUSLY familiar with a few songs on here, and while it’s definitely designed for commercial success, that doesn’t always mean it’s bad. In fact I already really like a lot of songs on here from hearing them everywhere I go, so I knew I would enjoy this to some extent. The most popular songs on here are probably the best, but the lesser known ones still have great moments. In fact the more popular ones here are easily the most pop centric, with the other ones straying more towards soul and blues. I really enjoyed this, and will likely be checking out more Adele in the future. (Or at least the very few stuff I haven’t already heard in public 😭)
