neat little album, i suppose. though, i found my interest in the album slowly diminishing by the 5th track when it got all dubstep-y. i guess i just have a distaste for dubstep. to be blunt, the best part was acloudyskye's singing. it's really nice.
something something l'via l'viaquez and every other song in this album is pretty neat
only have a nice life could make a song called "holy fucking shit: 40,000" and make it one of the best songs ever written
been on a vylet binge, hearing the ambient tracks makes me think:
"could she do a good ambient album?"
okay so, one time i was searching for noise rock albums on bandcamp and found out that vylet pony has been working on a noise rock project, something that piqued my interest. so now i'm just trying to prepare myself for that record by listening to her other stuff. (i mean, i always planned to listen to this one because of it's title. hell yeah, wizards and shit.)
anyways, this album is pretty fun.
the arpeggio that plays all along long season fucks
got me listening to music
it certainly grew off me heavily but it's still a fun listen
i truly have lost all credibility as a wannabe critic
edit: this is actually some pretty good noise i can't lie
while pretty basic, "what's a piano?" does what it does fairly well and makes for a good listen when you just want some soft, simple electronic music
i haven't listened to a lot of kawaii future bass so this is my first experience with the genre, maybe i will change my mind if i get into the genre proper
one of the greatest to ever
i love the bit when
truly my favorite
deserves to be in the
makes look incompetent
changed my forever
i thought this would be worse but my god the guitar guy shredded
album a bit too long though
very fun album
the synergy between the 2 vocalists is amazing
the guitar just goes auoiauioghjftfueihjgfrsaoeaoieu the whole album and i think that's pretty neat
shout outs to the bassist
lyrics kinda suck but they're saved by both the composition and isaac wood's frenetic, anxiety-ridden vocals
saxophonist goes insane the whole album but especially on opus
listening to chaos space marine a lot before listening to the album itself kinda spoiled this for me, that track set my expectations that everything else will as upbeat as that one
re-listening to this under different expectations, it's amazing
