'PUREFLOW', Pt. 1

So much thoughts, i need to dissect every song

Boompala: not terrible but should be shelved, i don’t hate this song and i personally enjoy it. But if hybe knows that people enjoy it, they’re gonna keep producing slop after slop and it’s going to get messy. On its own though, it’s decent. There’s some good moments, the boompala chorus is addictive but the Macarena sample ruins this song from ever being a good song

Celebration: the worst song produced by the kpop industry. Why go experimental when it’s very bare bone. It deviates there main audience, I saw many fans hate the hardstyle part of this song and that’s fine. Whats not fine is being experimental, but being too scared to fully commit and not delivering for those who like this type of music. Pre-chorus and verse are boring, and the only good part (the hardstyle part) is 5 seconds long and ends abruptly. Not a good song, and a terrible first single to release. This just pissed off ur own fanbase and those who would’ve actually liked the song.

Creatures: terrible pre chorus/verses saved by it’s chorus. I still dislike this song, I thought it sounded like something out of a Disney movie but the chorus was sorta good. Verses sounded like a nursery rhyme. Just a sign of a decline in quality by purposely dumbing down their music to appeal to kids

Iffy iffy: easily the best song off this album. No idea why this wasn’t the single to replace celebration but here we are. This shit also sounds like H&M music but the bar is in hell soo…

Need ur company: this album is genuinely reaching into my least favorite parts about kpop and putting them in one album. Boompala is the camp, fun song that’s shitty and is only there for shock marketing. Creatures is the nursery rhyme kpop song that’s needed in every single kpop album for some reason. Iffy is the H&M music kpop song. And now need ur company is what I call the BalladSlop. These aren’t ballads and I should change the name once I have a spark of creativity, but for now deal with it. These songs are those personal, yet very shallow, slow, boring songs in the album to try and make fans feel like the album is more personal than it is. Yves is a victim of this, and lesserafim must always have one of these every album.

Sonder: forgot about it, next

Saki: the next hit of the album, yeah sure the chorus is mind numbingly loud. But aliyah interlude is genuinely mother. I don’t know why anybody called her out to be on this album, but she’s here and she served. Everything else is boring and is low key cvntyslop but i need to stop creating new terms with slop at the end and move on

Irony: fucking awful, i’m crying at the fact I listened to this. Boompala is ass but this is worse (dw celebration is still the worst). Why did they sample that one phonk song, I see no mention of this anywhere online but istg they deadass sampled that one phonk song. Just overall terrible

Trust exercise: also good, no idea why the producers decided to lock in for this one off song in the album. But since i’m on hating timing, the way they say trust exercise pmo.

Overall very shitty, like i said it’s just all my grievances with kpop into one shitty mess. Hopefully celebration doesn’t start a trend of pussy experimental music cuz that was a new type of shit I saw from this album. Overall RIP hybe
