What an album to come out when I’ve just moved away from home permanently, moved to live alone the other side of the country - and ‘home’ just happens to be Essex… 'Scared of It' especially resonates to me right now, as someone who has recently moved far away from home, alone in a big new city, with life becoming very different very fast. I don't love all of it and there's definitely moments that lost me. However - I adore Bonnet of Pins.
It overall sounds great and I love some of the production choices. However, there's some vocal choices that I wasn't mad about.
Absolutely love this. I love the whole album, but Lotus is now one of favourite tracks of all time.
