One of my favorite EDM artists
1.
Lots of variety with lots of different kinds of songs that somehow fit together. Amazing dubstep and future bass as well as some of the best pop songs I've ever heard, all with a great level of polish and detail-rich production (besides Takeaway), as well as a cinematic touch with the interludes
2.
Very consistent enjoyment with better quality production than Ashes and no songs I'd ever even consider skipping, but a lot of the songs do sound very similar retreading the same idea in slightly different ways with less than ideal variety for a longer tracklist, but it is broken up by the more different tracks to not ruin the record
3.
A few tracks don't hit nearly as hard as the rest, but the ones that do hit really hard, and it's pretty short and concise. Probably only 1 track I'd skip, but it's got its own hard to describe variation on his sound just like most of his albums that avid listeners will probably feel when listening
4.
Offers another slightly different twist on Illenium's sound with lots of guitars used pretty well to replace synths and supersaws in drops to make it feel that little bit fresh. A couple songs I skip, a few production mistakes, and still has some very good high points, but not quite different enough to shake the feeling it's still mostly the same thing again
5.
Does incorporate some pop rock kind of stuff into the track list. Mostly pretty good production quality on a technical level but not his best, and lacks a lot of detail, depth, and new ideas for both the new-ish and more typical Illenium-type tracks, but still some enjoyment to be had, probably mostly for fans
