Even though the production is meh, and there is the absent of the bass.
It is still one of the best album made by Metallica. Songs such as Blackened, One, Dyers Eve is really good.
There are songs such as ...And Justice For All and To Live Is To Die which are very long songs, that I think can be shorten. However this is one of the greatest album ever. Vocals, Drums, Riffs and the energy here? Fantastic.
Why do y'all saying this album is mid, I think this album is pretty good especially songs like Inamorata, Room Of Mirrors, Shadow Follows, etc.
Now there's a few of mid song such as Crown Of Barbed Wire and some really bad ones such If Darkness Had A Son.
But I think this album is still pretty good, sure it's nothing when compared to their old albums such Master Of Puppets, Ride The Lightning, And...Justice For All. But you gotta admit James voice is really good especially at his age. ... read more

This is very well done in my opinion. Really excited for more songs made by him. I think a few songs could be better but overall a very solid first album.
