Only a couple of these songs stood out to me, with the rest either being underwhelming, or just plain bad. Fast Cars and Freedom, and Mayberry were the ones that gave me something to like, with all the rest being underwhelming.
The bad one? Unfortunately, Life is a Highway. It reminded me of Brooks & Dunn's duet with Halestorm on Boot Scootin' Boogie. It's just terrible. Ruined a perfect song and made it absolutely terrible.
Not bad, love the idea and love seeing the ... read more
Brett Young coming back with a truly solid record. I tend to not like a whole lot of his music aside from the mainstream stuff, but I didn't mind this project at all.
Aside from "In Case You Didn't Know 2.0", the highlight song for me was Goodnight Into Good Morning. While it was released back in July, I enjoyed the message and the storytelling in this track. Sonically, it's definitely something that I enjoy, especially the chorus and how everything just flows well ... read more
This record might go down as Album of the Year. Parker McCollum knocked this one out of the park, and this might be his best work yet. Parker has been known for his unique ability to write songs that while might be very personal, they connect with a large audience. The "Limestone Kid" proved with this record that he is one of the best songwriters in the game today, and his ability to produce a record like this leaves a true sense of who Parker McCollum really is.

Another solid release from Dierks here. It's a good record with some highs and lows, but it's solid all the way through and its a nice mix of pop and rock style country songs. The title track collab is a nice touch, the end of the song makes it kind of awkward and brings the rating down a little bit. Overall, good record and I'll come back to a couple of these songs regularly.
With very few exceptions, I just don't really like any of Dylan Scott's music. I don't particularly like his voice, and majority of his songs are basic country songs that are specifically tailored for modern country radio. This record is no different. With only a handful of new songs, this project didn't give me much to get excited about, and everything that was "new" was teased on his socials for months. I didn't like the project and I probably won't ... read more
