My 3rd K-pop project of the year, and this "Lemonade" offers something good, or at least better than what I've listened to. The energy of this album is very much there, very electro which I love. But that energy fades quickly from the 8th track, which made the rest of the listen not great. Even setting aside some lyricals, the beats are pretty basic.
But that's fine because this is an album that owns being fun and you pick up on that quickly. I'll go listen to ... read more
W T F ??? What did you do with the BTS money ??? π§
When the rollout started I began having a bad feeling about this album, but I stayed confident. We're talking about JPEGMAFIA after all. We're talking about Peggy… aren't we ?
I don't know what kind of experience he's going for here, but I remain confused. I feel like he took every one of his strengths from across his entire discography and decided to turn it all into a mush. It feels like a rollercoaster : a ... read more
OH… this is better than before. What drug has he been on?
I've been listening to Lucki for a while now, and has always known how to pull off his style. Unfortunately he ran out of steam over his last 3 albums, which were very repetitive and therefore boring over the lengh.
Here, he takes the same formula but adds a few new sounds and a better rythm. And what you get is a solid project. There are fewer catchy tracks, but the consistency makes this project a pretty enjoyable listen. ... read more

What even is Drake in 2026?
This is what his fans are excited about ? It's generic and once again brings nothing new to his career. He'd rather take shots at everyone around him instead of finding a new style.
Thankfully not everything is horrible and he still manages to pull off some decent rap tracks like he used to. Unlike FATD the rythm is better, but like all his recent projects, it only holds up for 5 good tracks ... read more
Now we're talking ! This track might serve as an interlude given the short lyrics, but the instrumental is powerful.
Pretty decent ep, nothing surprising, but Lucki seems to be doing a bit better than his previous album.
A cokehead album !
I've been listening to Death Grips for a while now, "Bottomless Pit" being the last project I checked out, but let's say I've been getting a bit more into them lately. But I didn't remember Exmilitary at all, which I only found out that it was coming back to streaming.
It's crazy how I managed to sit through 48 minutes while getting slapped in the face. All these sounds coming together in a chaotic mess, with that aggressive edge that ... read more

Kanye dies, Ye is born, Ye screwed up, Ye became good again (for now), but Ye is a bully.
After the horrible Vultures, the antisemitic phase, a "made by Suno" production, and a wall of apologies, is the hype around this project worth it ?
YES ! But Bully feels like "HIGHS AND LOWS".
First I appreciated that "old Kanye" feel. The overall vibe reminded me of Yeezus and "808s and Heartbreak" especially in the second ... read more
BULLY IS COMING ! NO AI !
Let's be focus. I finally listened to Kpop for 41 minutes. As someone who strongly looks down on this music genre, I challenged myself to discover several K-pop artists, hoping to change my perspective. Why not do like everyone else and listen to this project ?
You should know that BTS never interested me. I found nothing remarkable in their music and never understood why so many people adored them. But today I decided to make the effort to listen.
The result ... read more
BTS dropped their new album, and a friend wanted to make me listen to something better (and convert me to K-pop btw). To save my ears, I agreed to dive into this short project.
Maybe it's not the best starting point for a Kpop newbie like me, but it's still enjoyable. What we have here is a kind of mixtape blending a little bit of everything sonically, including "Whiplash" which really grabbed me. They also sing in Korean despite still having that urge to mix in English. ... read more

That's all it took to make this short project interesting. 8 fun, catchy, repetitive yet highly addictive tracks. Without being Denzel Curry's best project, he nonetheless delivers something effective. And even if you're left wanting more, this will make for great replay value ππ½.
Lancey Foux is reborn !
The underground industry pushed him aside, but he’s not dead. This project feels like a "fuck" to his label, proving he never needed all that shit to succeed. This isn't only his best project, but also the most rage of his career, withheavy bass hitting straight into our ears and a catchy tracklist. Knowing I’ve been listening to him for a long time, this was a really great surprise.
Now we’ll have to see how the rest of his career ... read more
Hykeem strikes again π₯. A short rollout, but in just one week, the three Booman documentaries on Youtubre really built up the hype for the album.
The result : a very solid project, short, but well executed this time with a slightly deeper theme. You can also feel his rapping improving little by little, getting closer to his cousin Kdot.
Sure there are fewer “trap” tracks and no major features, but Ca$ino is also the right kind of album to prove he’s capable of doing ... read more
