Very pleasant surprise that a friend recommended to me. Reminiscent of Akira Yamaoka’s work mixed with Pop’s “Gas”. Not the most attentive listen, but pleasant.
How the hell am I the first one to say anything about this? Anyway, flutes in black metal are something I’m a sucker for, but regardless this album is a journey. The length may turn some people away understandably so, but play some DND, turn this on in the background, and you’ll have a great time.
Highly impressed with the production of this album. The break beats matched with the heavenly vocals and spacy ambience coalesces so well here. The final track doesn’t quite land for me as a closer, but other than that, this is well worth your listen.

I’ve been a big hater of this album for a while now. It’s so bland and derivative that I truly don’t understand how it’s getting the praise it’s gotten over the years. I’ve given this album multiple chances to sway my opinion and it’s just not doing it for me. Only thing saving it from a lower score is “Circle with me” has a decent breakdown in it.
