I can't remember exactly how this album came to me, but one night I was dozing off to "gloomy" autoplay when out of nowhere I get blessed by the song How It Ends. I've heard another album by DeVotchKa so I hope I understand their genre enough to give this album a fair review.
1. (70) You Love Me has a nice country melody occasionally accompanied by a lovely set of strings and rattling. While this song isn't moving to me, it does have personality.

Before I found Hearth Room I had enjoyed this band's more exciting music, finding them exhilarating. One day I decided to see what their newest album was like. With the first two songs I had already begun loving the calm tone of Hearth Room.

This rating is just for fun. In all honesty the only three songs I like are Gold Dust, The Queen Of Hearts, and Inside Out. The rest are either ok or not my taste.
A friend of mine, who recommended this to me, rebuttaled when I said most of the songs sounded the same to me. They replied by saying that it was that very same reason the album was enjoyable for them. I gave it some thought and it made sense.

I first discovered On An On through Watch Dogs which included Panic. I've enjoyed that song since then, whether listening to it during my day to day, or spending some time driving around Watch Dog's Chicago city with this song on the radio.
After checking out the album for the first time, I came across Ghosts, which quickly became my 2nd favorite song from Give In. I always associate this song to the feeling of watching the credits of a movie with a sense of satisfaction.
