Xiu Xiu - 13" Frank Beltrame Italian Stiletto with Bison Horn Grips

I couldn't possibly add to what's been said about this album already - it's accessible, catchy, and easy to listen to. This luckily does not take away from the amazing sound or the creativity put on display here.

Every song here is so texturally rich and unique and jam-packed full of emotion like I've come to expect from the band at this point. It's definitely one of the best releases of the year that everybody should check out!

Korn - The Path of Totality

High school me thought this album was the coolest shit ever. I remember picking up this CD with my friends and absolutely jamming to this every night while we played Minecraft.

Gag Order is a vulnerable, emotional, tense rollercoaster that showcases just how good Kesha can be creatively. Conceptually, this album is beautiful in its writing and overall message, managing to find peace in an unfair, cruel world.

Sonically, this is a mega pop album from some of the industry's biggest names, so obviously, it's well-produced, sounds great, and is clean as a whistle. The biggest gripe i have with the album is that the first half of tracks sounds so much groovier, ... read more
